Trust Payments has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Test Analyst to join their team.
Location: Onsite - Bournemouth / Bangor - United Kingdom

Main purpose of the job:
We are seeking a Junior Test Analyst to join the Trust Payments Retail Team. As a Junior Test Analyst, you will be working with the retail development and delivery team to ensure overall quality for the retail product set.
Due to the nature of projects this role requires the applicant to work onsite for the first 6 months, after this period a hybrid alternative may be arranged.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Attend requirement refinement sessions and providing input and estimates from a testing perspective.
- Analyse requirements and design test conditions by communicating with subject matter experts and developers to ensure expected outcomes.
- Write and execute manual tests, capture results, and provide test evidence.
- Identify and report issues and risks associated with own work.
- Understand and implement testing processes ensuring that the software functions remain at the highest standards.
- Showcase new functionality and bug fixes to the product owner.
- Maintain appropriate levels of communication with the development team throughout the SDLC.
- Work towards a more automated way of working.
Qualities and Skills required:
Required:
- Interest in computing or other IT related topics.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- High level of written and oral communication.
- Awareness of the software development methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with productivity software such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams or Google Workspace.
Desirable:
- Experience with testing, quality assurance, software support or relevant transferable experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with a background in computing, mathematics, science or similar.
- ISTQB qualification Foundation level.
- Knowledge of software management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Exposure to databases and querying data using SQL.
- Experience of testing websites / mobile applications.

- Highly self-motivated and driven with a professional and positive approach.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Great organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organised in a dynamic work environment.
