Job Description

Our Technical Support team helps connect player experiences with the teams working on our games. We support players, investigate reported issues, and turn player feedback into relevant insights for teams across the studio.

As a Junior Technical Support Specialist, you'll help players resolve technical and gameplay-related issues while providing valuable insights from player reports to our development and other teams. You'll communicate directly with players, investigate reported issues, document your findings, identify recurring patterns, and make sure relevant information reaches the right people.

We're looking for someone who enjoys video games, helping others, and solving problems. You don't need to have all the answers right away. What matters is your curiosity, willingness to investigate unfamiliar issues, and ability to find solutions, even when they're not immediately obvious.

We value attention to detail, clear communication, and a collaborative approach. You'll be part of a team where sharing knowledge, asking questions, and learning from feedback are all part of everyday work.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Respond to player reports and provide clear, helpful troubleshooting guidance.
  • Investigate technical and gameplay-related issues using available documentation, internal tools, testing, and independent research.
  • Identify recurring issues and patterns, ensuring they're appropriately categorised, prioritised, documented, and escalated.
  • Help develop and improve troubleshooting solutions, internal knowledge resources, and player-facing support content.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including development, legal, and communications, to share relevant information.
  • Organise and manage your workload while maintaining clear communication and accurate documentation.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of our games, platforms, tools, and the teams involved in supporting them.
  • Put CD PROJEKT RED's values into practice through respectful communication, teamwork, and a player-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles, such as customer service, customer support, community support, technical support, or similar positions involving direct interaction with customers or users.
  • Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to different audiences.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity and a willingness to investigate unfamiliar issues.
  • Strong interest in video games and understanding of player experiences.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to document information clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to collaborate with others, ask questions when needed, and use feedback to improve your work.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage recurring tasks consistently.

Nice to Have

  • Basic understanding of PC hardware, software, and common troubleshooting methods.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, bug-tracking tools, game testing, modding, moderation, or supporting players in gaming communities.
  • Knowledge of additional languages that can help us support our international player communities, particularly French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, or languages spoken in Eastern Europe.

How to Apply

Please attach your CV and cover letter in English as a single file. We’d like to hear more about what interests you about this role, why you’d like to join our Technical Support team and briefly on your gaming background. At the end of your cover letter, please include a brief 1–2 sentence explanation of the difference between a game remake and a remaster.

Applications without the required attachments will not be considered.

What We Do

CD PROJEKT RED is home to over 900 game-making professionals from all over the globe. We speak many different languages, but share one love — video games. The studio’s portfolio largely comprises The Witcher series of role-playing games, including 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which received over 250 Game of the Year awards. In 2020, the studio released its most recent game: Cyberpunk 2077 — a first-person RPG set in a futuristic, high-tech world. Other notable releases include Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, and GWENT: The Witcher Card Game — in which players create decks of witcher-world warriors and fight epic card battles with other people around the globe. Headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, CD PROJEKT RED has offices in Kraków and Wrocław, as well as in Los Angeles and Vancouver. The studio is part of the larger CD PROJEKT S.A. Capital Group, which also includes Spokko, a mobile-focused developer responsible for The Witcher: Monster Slayer, and The Molasses Flood, a development studio in Boston, which is currently working on a game based on one of CD PROJEKT RED’s IPs. As the company grows, the overall studio mission remains the same: we strive to create the best RPGs in the world, while always keeping gamers’ needs at the core.
