Steel Point Solutions is actively recruiting skilled professionals to join our mission in supporting the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Office of Information Technology (OIT) - Application Development Division (ADD) through our Flexible Agile Scalable Team (FAST). We are seeking individuals passionate about making a difference by contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of vital human capital systems crucial for TSA's workforce.
Task Description:
· As a Junior HR Technical Analyst, you will support development, configuration, and integration of new solution modules, in addition to operations and maintenance of existing technical components in the TSA HR technology stack. Activities include designing, developing and configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting system enhancements and updates. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple technologies in agile team setup and will collaborate with functional analysts and client users.
· Development and configuration – 60%
· Troubleshooting issues – 20%
· Testing support and execution – 10%
· Design and Documentation – 10%
Required skills/Level of Experience:
Level 1: Minimum 1 year experience + Bachelor Degree or equivalent (Associate degree +2 years experience; 6 years experience; or relevant professional certification); Successful completion of higher education which has not resulted in a degree may be counted as one year of experience. Excellent customer relationship management skills including effective oral and written communications, 3+ years
· Experience in large and complex IT projects, preferably in the Human Capital space – 3+ years
· Experience with full stack development, especially with Python – 3+ years
· Experience with web development, including HTML, JavaScript, APIS, etc. – 3+ years
· Agile certification
· Experience developing and executing unit test scripts, troubleshooting issues, supporting user acceptance testing, and creating technical designs – 3+ years
· Proven ability to learn and adopt new technologies
Preferred skills:
· Experience with ServiceNow HRSD
· Experience with human capital systems, especially in support of Federal cusotmers
· Experience working with SAFe
· Experience in any of the following technologies: Drupal, Drools, AWS services, PowerBI, RPA tools
