Responsibilities
You will coordinate VAT returns for our German and European Statista companies.
You will work on a variety of projects, covering topics such as e-invoicing, withholding tax processes, and digitization.
Together with our experienced tax team, you will advise our domestic and foreign companies on issues relating to VAT, corporate and international tax law.
You will assist in the preparation and maintenance of our transfer pricing documentation in Germany and abroad.
You will support the establishment and further development of our tax compliance management system and contribute your own ideas for optimizing tax processes.
Requirements
A successfully completed degree in economics with a focus on tax/finance – or completed training as an assistant or tax specialist.
Initial professional experience (1–3 years) in the field of taxation, ideally in an international environment.
Sound knowledge of corporate and VAT law as well as practical experience in VAT compliance; initial insights into international tax law are a plus.
A structured, independent way of working combined with team spirit and solution-oriented thinking.
IT affinity and proficient in MS Excel; experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
