Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will support, troubleshoot, and enhance in-house software applications, ensuring smooth functionality and excellent user experiences. This position offers a great opportunity to develop technical expertise, contribute to QA processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides daily support for various in-house software applications.
  • Troubleshoots development and production issues across multiple environments and platforms.
  • Learns and documents application functionality to effectively resolve issues and proposes enhancements.
  • Assists the software team with QA processes, ensuring applications meet performance and usability standards.
  • Contributes to application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities.
  • Works closely with users and subject matter experts to design and troubleshoot technical solutions.
  • Participates in team meetings and collaborate with peers to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Provides support during software implementations, including occasional weekend availability as needed.
  • Responds promptly to management and end-user requests to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Maintains and expands technical knowledge through training opportunities.
  • Takes the initiative to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support team goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • In pursuant of or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant job or coursework experience.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML, and CSS.
  • Basic knowledge of programming technologies such as C#.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and MS Office programs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for learning how things work.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization skills to balance competing demands.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends to support implementations.
