About the role:
The Junior Sommelier is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of Wine, Beverage & Food menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.  

What you will do:

• Provides prompt, attentive and courteous service to every guest in the hotel

• Promote and match Wine with Food in the best possible way to suit the Restaurants Cuisine and the guest taste and requests

• Ensures that all wine & beverages are served at the correct temperatures

• Maintains an attentive and proactive approach when it comes to offer a second round and ascertaining satisfaction with the Wine/Beverage already served

• Assist Outlet Director/Managers in the hotel to ensure the outlet is properly set and prepared to meet the daily business demands

What you bring:

• A minimum of a High School or equivalent education

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English

• Relevant experience in a similar role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to supervise subordinates and effectively deal with both internal and external guests
