We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer 1 to join our software development team. In this entry-level role, you will help design, build, test, document, and support software solutions across web, desktop, and client-server platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers, business analysts, QA, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, maintainable technology solutions while continuing to grow your technical, business, and collaboration skills.
As a Junior Software Engineer 1, you will contribute to software development assignments under moderate supervision. You will write and test code, analyze existing systems, assist with design deliverables, support troubleshooting, and communicate progress clearly. This role is ideal for someone with foundational software development experience who is eager to learn, collaborate, and deliver high-quality solutions in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
· Develop, test, and implement software solutions that follow established development standards and best practices.
· Participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements review, design, construction, unit testing, documentation, and implementation support.
· Analyze business and non-functional requirements and help translate them into clear, practical design deliverables.
· Build reusable, extendable, and maintainable systems and components using available technologies.
· Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving moderately complex software issues within the scope of the role.
· Collaborate with business analysts, QA, technical leads, project managers, and business contacts to support testing, planning, estimation, project status updates, and issue resolution.

· Produce technical documentation that aligns with team and development standards.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Skills:
· Foundational knowledge of one or more programming languages or technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, or related web development tools.
· Typically 0–3 years of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, bootcamp projects, or related professional experience.
· Familiarity with web, desktop, client-server, Windows, SharePoint, or database-backed applications.
· Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and common development practices such as code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
· Good problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions, learn from feedback, and improve over time.
