Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer specializing in 5G RAN L1/L2 to join our team in Bangalore, India. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge software for 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies, focusing on Layer 1 (Physical Layer) and Layer 2 (Data Link Layer) protocols.
- Design, develop, and optimize software for 5G RAN L1/L2 components
- Implement and integrate 5G protocols according to 3GPP specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of developed software
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in 5G technology and wireless communications
- Document technical specifications, designs, and test results
- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide innovative solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software development for wireless communications
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages
- In-depth knowledge of 5G RAN protocols, particularly L1/L2
- Familiarity with 3GPP specifications and standards
- Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded software development
- Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience with 4G LTE technologies is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
