Job Description:
About the Role
Contribute features and perform testing to support a full-stack solar energy modeling tool.
Key Responsibilities
• Write backend APIs and services for PV modeling calculations
• Build frontend components and user interfaces
• Fix bugs across the full stack with comprehensive test coverage
• Design and implement automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E)
• Create API test automation using Postman/Newman
• Develop E2E tests using Playwright/Cypress
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code
• Participate in code reviews
• Collaborate with PV domain experts to understand requirements
• Learn solar modeling concepts to implement accurate calculations
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years professional software development experience
- Programming experience in any modern language (Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.)
- Understanding of web development (frontend and/or backend)
- Experience with databases and SQL
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Understanding of software testing and writing automated tests
- Knowledge of testing tools (Postman, Selenium, Playwright, or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
- Willingness to learn new technologies and domains
