What to expect :
The R&D department is at the center of the action at Broadsign.
Your main focus will be to design and develop new features on both the front and back ends of our software suite. And because you’re a technology enthusiast, you’ll probably want to tweak and maintain our existing feature set as well! You’ll get to participate in sprints where you’ll be encouraged to share your ideas and knowledge with your team. You’ll be working in a dynamic and peer-driven environment where you’ll play with all the latest and greatest hardware and software!
What you need to perform in this job :
- A strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) fundamentals, with a keen interest in mastering C# and .NET Core
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and a desire to apply them to build clean, maintainable code.
- Exposure to Azure services (such as Azure Web Apps or Azure Function Apps) through internships, personal projects, or academic coursework.
- A solid understanding of how REST APIs work and how to interact with them.
- An understanding of why we write testable code and a strong willingness to learn Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Proficiency in writing and understanding basic SQL queries
- A proactive communicator who thrives in Agile/Scrum environments and values continuous feedback
- Any exposure to functional programming concepts is a great asset!

English is required for this position in order to communicate with colleagues, clients and partners (or suppliers) located outside Quebec and to understand the technical and scientific documentation used in our industry
