The Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking a Junior SharePoint Developer/Administrator at our customer site, located at The Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. As the SharePoint Developer/Administrator, you will create, maintain, and modify SharePoint sites to support the customer directorate. In addition, the Junior SharePoint Administrator will grant, edit, and remove access as requested by the customer. We are seeking an individual with creativity and experience in developing effective, efficient SharePoint solutions.
This position is hybrid, however you must be within commuting distance of the The Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to start.
What will you do in this role?
- Perform the administration of sites, libraries, and lists for SharePoint spaces on various domains.
- Support customers and multiple teams through any service questions or issues and take appropriate helpful action to initiate repairs promptly.
- Grant, modify, and remove SharePoint site access.
- Develop new sites, modify existing ones, create content layouts, and enhance the visualization of information.
- Use MS Power Apps to automate forms and workflows.
- Update SharePoint as needed via monthly Microsoft patching cycles.
- Create weekly activity report (WAR) for all the work accomplished during the week.
- Implement SharePoint templates as requested by the customer.
- Drive clear and concise team communication and correspond accordingly with clients.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with at least 3 years of prior relevant experience in a software development environment. Additional experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.
- Intellectually curious with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of SharePoint Online and collaboration tools.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Expertise in working with high Government officers.
- Solid presentation skills and development of presentation charts.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- US Citizenship with an active Top Secret/SCI government security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good analytical skills and programmatic knowledge.
- Working knowledge of MS Power Apps.
- Ability to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint online.
