Your Challenges:
- Act as the first line of defense in our Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
- Monitor our environments proactively:
- Keep an eye on the security ticket queue to detect potential incidents quickly.
- Monitor the security mailbox for incoming alerts.
- Respond to security alerts from tools such as Arctic Wolf, ESET, CheckPoint, and Microsoft Defender and escalate incidents to the Security Lead when necessary.
- Analyze incidents and alerts, identify patterns, and propose proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate with other teams (DevOps, Cloud, Business Support) to resolve incidents effectively.
- Maintain and support security solutions:
- Greenbone/Lansweeper Cloud for vulnerability management.
- ESET for endpoint security (installation and upgrades).
- Arctic Wolf agent installation and upgrades.
- MetaCompliance for phishing and security awareness campaigns.
- Keeper for password management and remediation of weak shared passwords.
- Assist in reviewing and managing firewall rules in our SASE solution.
- Support and chase completion of security questionnaires
- Perform basic security reviews of new software and suppliers.
- Act as a local security contact for our office:
- Organize training sessions and coach team members on security best practices.
- Conduct access reviews and assist with security audits (evidence collection, filter maintenance).
You Have:
- A strong interest in cybersecurity and a proactive mindset.
- Basic knowledge of security tools and concepts (endpoint protection, vulnerability management, phishing prevention).
- Familiarity with incident response processes and ticketing systems.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-driven approach.
- Ability to analyze and document incidents clearly.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Alternatively, an associate degree in IT or cybersecurity combined with relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker).
- Previous experience or an internship in IT security is a plus, but motivated juniors are welcome.
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python) and cloud environments is a bonus.
