Overview of the role: Hartford Funds is seeking an experienced Salesforce developer who is interested in joining a fast-paced, client focused team. As an experienced developer, you will be assigned projects that will leverage your Apex and other relevant skills, to deliver enhancements and new capabilities to our Sales team. You will work closely with a technical lead but will also be able to take requirements and work independently with minimal oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the technical lead, project manager and members of the business to understand the requirements, use cases & expectations
- Communicate clearly and proactively with other developers and the project manager
- Effectively manage workload, communicate status, and execute on time
- Produce a quality deliverable that aligns with requirements/expectations
- Approach all assignments, big and small, with energy and focus
- Ensure adequate testing is conducted on deliverables
- Develop and nurture a deep understanding of business needs
- Provide production support coverage, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 - 5 years of Salesforce development experience
- Expert with Lightning Components, Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, and SOQL
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, permissions, and security architecture
- Experience with Salesforce APIs
- Experience with Visualforce Pages
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with calling and exposing Rest APIs from Apex
- Experience with VS Code and SFDX
- Experience with GIT and branching strategies
- Prior experience with Java, .Net, or Python a plus
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certification preferred
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$120,000 to $150,000
