We are looking for a Junior Revenue Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with US GAAP revenue recognition, support quarterly and annual closings, assist with revenue reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This is a great opportunity to work within a Global team, learn and develop strong accounting skills, and gain exposure to global finance practices.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Support the implementation of revenue recognition practices, including contract review and application of US GAAP / ASC 606 guidelines.
- Assist in revenue and backlog management, including preparation of analytical reports for management.
- Take part of quarterly and annual closing processes.
- Collaborate with Pre‑Sale, Product House, Finance, and other cross‑functional teams to support revenue‑related data flows.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of revenue processes, internal controls, and ERP data accuracy.
- Assist in preparing revenue‑related working papers and documentation for auditors.
- Participate in additional corporate accounting assignments when needed.
For that mission you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience as an Accountant.
- Basic understanding of accounting standards IFRS (knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage).
- Fluent English.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficient with Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Curious, eager to learn, and proactive.
Will be considered an advantage:
- Experience in high-tech companies.
- Experience working with auditors or in revenue-related roles.
- Familiarity with AI and eagerness to learn and improve.
- Currently in the process of obtaining an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA or ACA)
