Junior Data Analyst

Job Description Summary

We're looking for a candidate with an analytical background, strong numerical skills, and ideally some experience with Power BI. You'll work closely with the Head of Research, ensuring consistency in client experience and operational excellence across EMEA, while collaborating with local business services, Marketing, and Data & Analytics teams.
This is a maternity cover role for a defined period, focusing on research, data analysis, and reporting for the Czech market to support business growth through insights and market intelligence.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​​Ensure real estate data collection and update of existing databases (office, industrial, retail, residential, investment etc.) to deliver regular market and economic updates, with specific focus areas determined by team structure, location, and other relevant factors.
  • Cooperate with other business services teams to gather, analyse, and utilize local and regional market insights, including competitive, client, and industry data, to produce market thought leadership.
  • Support business development activities, including presenting market updates to clients.
  • Undertake independent market analyses for ad-hoc reports for clients as defined by the business.
  • Support marketing and communication activities in line with the company content strategy
  • Contribute to C&W brand visibility through active participation in public events and social media.
  • Cooperate with C&W research teams in other countries and the wider EMEA team.

Knowledge & Experience:

Strong analytical skills: 

  • proficiency in data collection, statistical analysis, and market research methodologies
  • ability to assess data, identify trends, and interpret market dynamics
  • capability to evaluate sources, challenge assumptions, and ensure accuracy
     

Strong communications skills:

  • translating data into clear, compelling narratives through reports, presentations, and data visualisations
     

Creative problem solving:

  • working effectively, efficiently, and independently, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment
  • preferably possessing knowledge about key real estate metrics
     

Tools used:

  • Proficiency essential: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Prior experience useful: MS Power BI, Power Query, GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
     

Experience in professional services or the real estate sector is beneficial but not required.

Degree in Economics, Geography, Real Estate or related fields preferred
