About the Role
Join RHB as a Junior Relationship Manager – Corporate Deposits and play a key role in strengthening the Group’s funding and liquidity position. You will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Government, corporate and commercial clients, while developing tailored deposit solutions that support both client needs and the Group’s funding strategy.
This role offers an opportunity to combine relationship management, business development and financial product expertise to drive sustainable deposit growth and optimise funding costs.
What You Will Be Doing
Build and maintain strong relationships with Government, corporate and commercial clients by understanding their financial and liquidity requirements.
Identify, develop and execute opportunities to grow CASA, Fixed Deposits (FD) and MCA deposits.
Proactively promote and cross-sell RHB’s deposit products and relevant banking solutions to existing and prospective clients.
Source, negotiate and execute customer deposit transactions in line with the Group’s funding strategy.
Drive deposit growth across customer segments, volumes and geographical areas.
Support the Group’s overall liquidity and funding strategy, with a focus on maintaining a sustainable and cost-efficient funding base.
Manage customer liabilities with the objective of optimising Treasury funding costs.
Monitor key funding and liquidity indicators, including LDR, FDR and other relevant ratios.
Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, market trends and competitive developments, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Work closely with the Supervisor and relevant stakeholders on the Group’s overall liquidity and funding position.
Ensure business activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, Group policies and the relevant code of conduct.
Ensure dealers adhere to the Group’s established policies, procedures, regulations and code of conduct.
What We’re Looking For
Relevant experience in corporate banking, commercial banking, treasury, deposits or liability management.
Strong understanding of corporate and commercial deposit products, including CASA, FD and MCA.
Proven track record in business development, client relationship management and deposit mobilisation.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and develop tailored financial solutions.
Good understanding of liquidity, funding and customer liability management.
Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Customer-focused, proactive and results-oriented with the ability to achieve business targets.
Strong awareness of regulatory requirements, risk management and banking governance.
