We are looking for an experienced and proactive Junior Recruiter to join our HR team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in recruitment for the Oil & Gas/ Marine/ Offshore sectors and be familiar with sourcing and hiring technical professionals for engineering roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
- Source candidates for technical and non-technical positions through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, and other recruitment channels.
- Recruit professionals for Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore, and Engineering Services projects.
- Understand job requirements and identify suitable candidates based on technical skills, experience, and industry background.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments and interviews.
- Coordinate technical and management interviews with candidates and internal teams.
- Maintain regular communication and follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate recruitment records in the ATS
- Conduct salary discussions and support the offer and negotiation process.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate database for current and future requirements.
- Develop and maintain talent pools for specialized engineering positions.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and provide regular hiring updates.
- Support employer branding and other recruitment-related activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably in technical recruitment.
- Mandatory experience in recruitment for Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore/ related engineering sectors.
- Experience hiring engineering professionals such as Structural, Piping, Naval Architecture, Marine, Offshore, and Design Engineers is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Naukri, LinkedIn, and other sourcing platforms.
- Good understanding of technical job descriptions and engineering skill requirements.
- Strong candidate sourcing and screening skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Experience with ATS/Recruitment software is an added advantage.
Skills Required
