Algorithms Team:
Our Algorithms team is a versatile Software Engineering team. They build production-ready software for complex problems that require technical and innovative solutions. The team combines:
- Software engineering ability;
- Technical expertise in fields such as Computer Vision, Signal Processing and Sensor Fusion, Kinematics, Control, Data Science, etc;
- Product and clinical awareness.
The largest example of their work is the motion tracking and motion analysis that enables our AI Care Specialist to guide our members during their exercise sessions:
- Providing real-time feedback;
- Collecting valuable movement metrics.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures for our Computer Vision Team;
- Conduct data acquisition and data annotation efforts;
- Validate CV developments by creating/running scripts and/or conducting technical experiments defined together with the team;
- Collaborate with product teams (including other QAs) to ensure quality of features that integrate Computer Vision components;
- Be an active participant in all parts of the software development process, cross-functionally, making sure testing “shifts left” and that there is proper tracking of success post-launch;
- Proactively and clearly report status and quality risks to stakeholders.
What you need to have:
- A strong Engineering background, including working knowledge of both scripting and Machine Learning;
- Solid knowledge of software testing and of the software development lifecycle;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Portuguese and English);
- Comfort with version control and task management software;
- Ability to interpret and analyze data of different types;
- Proactive attitude, flexibility, critical thinking.
