The Product Marketing Specialist Orthopedic Enabling Technologies is focused on ensuring best-in-class product expertise and clinical support of new and existing CORI customers, and is responsible for supporting strategic and applied marketing support of S+N Robotics customers as well as the internal robotics support and sales teams.

This person plays a pivotal role in executing successful market launches for innovative medical devices. By ensuring best-in-class product expertise and clinical support, this specialist empowers internal teams and external customers to adopt new technologies efficiently. The focus is on equipping markets with the resources and knowledge needed to accelerate surgeon learning curves, increase technology adoption, and maximize case utilization—ultimately advancing patient outcomes and strengthening the company’s competitive position.

Knowledge of both Joint Reconstruction and Robotics is beneficial to be successful in this role. The role has the immediately executable goal of ensuring clinical support of customers, shortening surgeon learning curves, increasing adoption of the technology, and ultimately driving case utilization. This role reports to the Director, Robotics Enabling Technology and will directly assist our Orthopaedics & Robotics teams in Europe.

This position is being offered as parental leave cover, providing a valuable opportunity for someone to step into a dynamic and impactful role within our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining continuity and supporting our ongoing projects during the leave period.

Contract: Full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (min. 80%), fixed-term (12-18 months). If the collaboration goes well, we aim to extend the contract or make it permanent.

What will you be doing?

  • Gain and maintain a high level of technical knowledge of the whole orthopedic reconstruction product line with major focus on the CORI platform for S+N Robotics technology

  • Lead the planning and execution of market launches for new orthopedic medical devices, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and launch timelines are met. Develop and implement messaging tailored to target audiences.

  • Design and deliver impactful marketing campaigns and educational initiatives to drive awareness, surgeon engagement, and early adoption of new products.

  • Support the creation of launch materials, including sales tools, digital content, and training resources, to equip field teams and customers for success.

  • Monitor and report on launch performance metrics, such as adoption rates, case utilization, and customer satisfaction, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements throughout the launch process.

  • Assist the medical and commercial education teams to deliver “Best in Class” training to surgeons and internal stakeholders

  • Establish strong working relationships with our Joint Reconstruction field leadership and internal support roles as well as the relevant global marketing counterparts

  • Understand the competitive landscape with major competitor players installed base as well as upcoming new technologies

What will you need to be successful?

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Marketing,  Engineering, Medical Technology, Business Administration, or related field or professional training with extensive relevant experience

  • Initial experience in the Medical Devices industry, preferably in orthopedic surgery such as knee and hip replacement (Sales, Marketing, technical or clinical support roles)

  • Basic understanding of orthopedic procedures and technologies

  • Experience assisting with marketing materials and digital content creation

  • Strong organizational skills to support campaign planning and execution

  • Willingness to learn from senior team members and adapt to evolving market needs

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing multiple priorities

  • Good communication skills, especially with technical information

  • Very good English language knowledge (written and spoken), preferably 1-2 other European languages (e.g. German, French)

  • Data analysis skills (e.g. PowerBI, Matlab, Python) are an additional benefit

  • Travel Requirements: 10-20%
