ABOUT THE POSITION
Junior Procurement Manager at BURGA is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and versatile environment. You will be involved in supporting procurement activities, learning how suppliers, budgets, and purchasing processes work, and contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain.
Your Role: You will assist with supplier sourcing, contract preparation, and purchasing activities, while gaining hands-on experience in procurement operations. Working closely with inventory, quality, and production teams, you will help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and contribute to cost optimization and supply chain stability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support the procurement team in day-to-day purchasing and supplier coordination activities.
- Assist with supplier research, data collection, and preparation for negotiations and contracts.
- Analyze procurement data using Excel and other tools to support cost optimization and decision-making.
- Collaborate with inventory, quality, and production teams to ensure purchasing aligns with operational needs.
- Help track supplier performance, prepare reports, and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
- Support the team in resolving supply issues and improving procurement processes.
- Explore and apply AI-driven tools and automation solutions to improve procurement efficiency and reporting.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or business operations (prior experience not required).
- A degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related field would be a strong advantage.
- Analytical mindset and confidence working with Excel and data.
- Business-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong motivation to grow into a more independent procurement role over time.
- Curiosity and willingness to use AI tools to improve workflows, analysis, and decision-making.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively across teams.
- High attention to detail and structured way of working.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
SALARY: 2000-2300 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
