The Team:
Reporting to our Global Head of Procurement as our new Junior Procurement Manager you will work closely with various internal stakeholders and global leadership across the board to develop long-term procurement strategies. You will be part of an experienced and ambitious global procurement team. Despite the different time zones and regions, we work together very closely and support each other during daily business. The Role:
In your position as the Junior Procurement Manager for the Category: Services & Software, you will be responsible for evaluating and purchasing mainly software and services, but also marketing and hardware as well as creating strategies to cut costs. You will help implementing and enforcing procurement policies and procedures to ensure high quality in suppliers and deliverables.
The work you'll do:
- Take over responsibility over procurement activities of the assigned (sub) categories: Software & Services
- Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders
- Collaborate with the legal department to achieve the best possible contract results
- Work closely with various internal stakeholders to develop mid- and long-term procurement strategies
- Track and report key functional metrics to avoid costs and improve effectiveness
- Create and review opportunities to implement best practice purchasing policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance and deliver best value and business savings
- Ensure professional and consistent supplier management is applied across the supply base in line with the internal policies
- Responsible for cost avoidance and cost saving targets
The qualifications you need:
- 2+ years experience in purchasing SaaS solutions, licenses, appliances and related services
- Experience in license management
- Experience in developing different and durable sourcing strategies for different types of software subscription
- Strong ability to deal with different internal stakeholders and in multinational teams
- Work in an analytical way and excellent negotiation skills
- Strong communications skills and feel comfortable to act on all hierarchy levels
- Independent and entrepreneurial way of working
- Experience in a hyper-growth company or comparable company desirable
