Introduction
The Junior Procurement Controller supports the Global Procurement Controlling team with operational controlling activities, month-end reporting, analytical tasks, and day-to-day financial support. The role is designed for a young graduate who wants to build a strong foundation in procurement finance, reporting, and data-driven analysis within an international environment.
Your Responsibilities
Support month-end reporting, including data preparation, variance checks, reconciliations, and basic commentary.
Perform difference and gap analysis to identify deviations between actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
Assist in monitoring payment terms and supporting related compliance and reporting activities.
Conduct price analysis, including purchase price development, inflation/deflation impacts, and supplier-level comparisons.
Support financial impact analysis related to procurement initiatives and operational decisions.
Contribute to spend reporting and procurement KPI dashboards, ensuring data consistency and correct categorization.
Prepare ad-hoc analyses upon request from the Global Procurement Controller
Support process documentation, template maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with senior controllers to ensure accurate data flows and proper application of global methodologies.
Provide general administrative and analytical support to the Global Procurement Controlling function.
What do we ask from you?
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field, with up to 3 yrs of relevant experience in Procurement/procurement control.
Recent graduates with internship exposure in procurement are also welcome to explore this opportunity.
Strong analytical mindset with ability to handle large datasets and perform structured analysis.
Good knowledge of Excel; familiarity with JDE, Vena, or spend analytics tools is an advantage.
Good communication and stakeholder skills; comfortable working in an international environment.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow processes with accuracy.
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in controlling.
Interest in procurement finance, operational controlling, or financial analysis.
Fluent in English and Dutch (must have)

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3716 to € 5040 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Through exceeding performance expectations, you even have the possibility to grow outside this scale.
