What would your role be?
- Assist in the management and monitoring of equity portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and risk parameters.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of equities, including fundamental and technical analysis, to support investment decisions.
- Develop and implement options or derivative strategies to enhance portfolio performance, manage risk, or hedge exposures.
- Collaborate with senior portfolio managers to design and execute investment strategies.
- Monitor portfolio performance, assess risks, and recommend adjustments to optimize risk-adjusted returns.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment opportunities for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed about market developments, economic trends, and industry news to identify actionable investment opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management frameworks to mitigate portfolio exposures.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Finance) or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- 2-5+ years of experience in portfolio management, equity or credit research, or a related investment role.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, financial instruments, and risk management principles.
- Hands-on experience with options, derivatives, or structured products is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, portfolio analytics, and investment tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms).
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment ideas clearly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluent in German and English
