Junior People Operations Coordinator - (6 Months fixed term contract)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior People Operations Coordinator to join our team in Bristol, UK. In this role you will support the onboarding process for new employees throughout EMEA ensuring they have an exceptional experience. 

You will be given the opportunity to work on the full new starter process from creating contracts through to meeting the individuals on their first day, welcoming them to the Immersive community and making them feel included from day one.  

You do not need to hold previous experience within HR but have a keen interest in developing your knowledge and experience in this area. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tasks and get involved in various projects. You will have a real passion for people and operations and a desire to ensure the work you deliver best supports the business.

This is a hybrid role and we would like you to be based from our office in Bristol 2-3 times per week.

 

Your main responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Supporting the onboarding process for all new employees in EMEA including drafting employment contracts and offer letters, pre employment checks, and posting laptops to new starters

  • Welcoming new starters to Immersive on their first day, sharing new hire benefits and related information with employees, and overall ensuring a great onboarding experience 

  • Maintaining internal databases, keeping policies and internal documentation up-to-date, and filing employee documents 

  • Providing detailed information to new employees and existing staff regarding our benefits package 

  • Serve as the first line of support for HR queries from employees within the business via JIRA ticketing system, including benefits, time off, and internal policy questions

  • Partner with internal teams such as IT, Legal, Payroll to ensure a smooth employee experience throughout the employee life-cycle  

  • Work on People and Talent related projects

  • Some admin based experience would be an advantage
