Junior Oracle Apex Developer
The candidate should work closely the Analytics team with responsibility for the following task:
- Responsible for designing and implementing new features into using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL.
- Responsible for the integration of third party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries.
- Suggesting application design enhancements and new product features.
- Evaluate new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies into the solution.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate backend databases (Oracle, SQL Server) into front-end applications.
- Develop solutions that provide real-time data feeds and analytics to various NJT departments using APEX and Power BI.
- Ensure all systems adhere to NJT’s data governance and security standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least 6 months experience designing and developing commercial grade web applications using Oracle APEX. · Ability to deliver modern elegant web applications using a combination of APEX and JavaScript.
- Oracle SQL / Oracle PL/SQL programming, TSQL experience.
- Experience in managing web page layouts with APEX templates and themes.
- Relational Data modeling.
- Knowledge of web application usability trends.
- HTML5 / CSS knowledge.
- Experience collaborating effectively with team members and partners in a distributed project environment.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
- Experience integrating REST APIs into APEX applications.
- Web application security / Data security.
