In the Benelux, Air Liquide operates an extensive pipeline grid to transport industrial gases (oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon monoxide) to its customers. Next to that, Air Liquide also distributes gases by road transport in liquid form or compressed into high pressure trailers.

The Air Liquide Leading EXcellence (ALLEX) Program is Air Liquide's international graduate program for talented and motivated fresh graduates from all over Europe.
By participating in this program, you will have the opportunity to kick start your career by making an important contribution to your team and developing your skills on a professional and personal level. You will develop yourself through a 6-month international assignment within Europe after 18 months in your initial role.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
WHAT DOES A OPERATIONS ENGINEER DO?
As a Operations Engineer you will learn how to operationally manage the complete portfolio of our plants and over 3.000 km of pipelines (spread over Benelux and Germany ).
You are responsible for a network that delivers gases to refineries, chemical plants, steel plants, etc.
By this, you actively contribute to keep our organization in a leading position in a complex and dynamic market.
You will work in the Remote Operations Control Center (ROCC) in full continuous shifts and will be based in Zaventem
As an ALLEX participant you will:
Hold a permanent position with responsibilities
Develop yourself through a 6-month international assignment within Europe after 18 months in your initial role. You will discover another business area, activities, country and working environment of Air Liquide.

ALLEX Program requirement: you are a recent graduate (max 36 months experience).
Customer Service Skills: You have to be able to listen to our customers in order to understand their needs. Customer satisfaction is what drives us every day.
Communication Skills: You will be in direct contact with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You have to be able to clearly express yourself to them in a friendly and professional way.
Flexibility: This job requires you to work in a full continuous shift system.
