The Junior Operations Analyst will support the Joint Cyber Operations Integration Center (JCOIC) Network Security Operations (NSO) team in advancing the Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. This role involves establishing and troubleshooting network connections between the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Oracle Health, while coordinating across both technical and non-technical teams to ensure successful connectivity and operations. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Support meetings by coordinating between technical and non-technical resources, and track/report deliverables and outcomes.
Coordinate and support technical connectivity testing activities.
Assist with overall team planning, documentation, and reporting.
Provide troubleshooting and support for new and existing interfaces within the JCOIC portfolio.
Facilitate Line-of-Sight (LOS) connectivity.
Review and manage Change Request (CR) activities.
Apply knowledge of networking and network technologies to respond to inquiries, provide status updates, and report on network connectivity issues or events.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with the concepts, terms, processes, policies, and implementation of information security.
Knowledge of the latest security measures across all stages of the information system life cycle.
Ability to solve complex problems involving diverse information systems.
Capability to identify and differentiate between critical and non-critical systems and networks.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Eight (8) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for education.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
