What You Will Achieve
- Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production and packaging machinery, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Perform specification checks, interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications, and determine the sequence of operations and setup methods.
- Take responsibility for individual contributions to team deliverables, fostering a positive team environment, and representing the work group within department teams.
- Manage personal time and professional development, prioritize workflow, and assist less-experienced colleagues in prioritizing their tasks.
- Complete assignments based on established procedures, identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and provide direction and training to team members.
- Share knowledge within and across work groups, proactively identify and resolve non-routine problems, and make decisions requiring multiple options.
- Work under general supervision, independently complete recurring assignments, and refer new or unusual problems to the supervisor.
- Ensure non-standard work is reviewed for sound technical judgment, adhere to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, and train others as needed.
- Apply safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in daily operations, operate production machines, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Train colleagues for cross-training and capability enhancement, perform special projects, handle objects and tools efficiently, and coordinate with other departments for smooth production operations.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED with at least
- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Certification in the assigned area (if applicable)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting capability on production equipment, including all electrical, transmission, and gear drive repairs
- Extensive generalist experience will be considered.
- Mechanical and electrical skills and in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing cells, utilities, and systems in the installation and qualification of equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Strong understanding of safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Ability to work under general supervision and complete recurring assignments independently
- Setup up, Operate, trouble shoot, monitor and maintain critical production machines & tools/ change parts.
- Support machine related OE projects and improve OEE of all critical machines. Support OE and innovation projects.
- Participate in Kaizen/ yellow belt projects/ innovation projects to improve efficiency.
- Daily routine maintenance of critical and ancillary machines.
- Monitor and record process parameters.
- Reconciliation of tools/materials/ Records.
- In process quality checks and recording
- Entries of records in JDE/SAP or any other related ERP package
- Changeover/ Cleaning/ sanitation of production machineries, equipment's and mantaining records of the same.
- Supervision & training of casuals.
- To ensure adherence and compliance to ISO 9001/14001, OHSAS 18001 and ICH requirements.
- Improve safe work conditions and safe working practices to have zero accidents and environment friendly operations.
- Adherence to local legal requirements, EHS policy and EHS standards/ programs/ SOPs to ensure compliance and improve the safety culture.
- Participation in safety meetings, EHS programs and EHS events and proactively report and address EHS issues and Near Misses.
