EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking for a Junior Network Engineer to join our Network Team and contribute to the operation and support of enterprise network infrastructures for large-scale projects worldwide.
The position offers hands-on exposure to enterprise networking and security technologies and the opportunity to develop experience across Cisco, HPE, Fortinet, F5, and other technologies while working alongside experienced network engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure;
- Assist with routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and network security activities;
- Perform routine network administration, operational checks, and first-level troubleshooting;
- Assist senior team members with network changes, upgrades, migrations, and new deployments;
- Support the maintenance of network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures;
- Participate progressively in infrastructure projects and more advanced networking and security activities as experience develops.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications
- Good understanding of IP networking and core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, and STP;
- Basic understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP;
- Basic understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles;
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills;
- Strong interest in developing a career in networking and network security;
- Ability to learn, work effectively within a team, and gradually take on greater technical responsibility;
- Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge.
Nice to Have Qualifications
- Previous professional, internship, or hands-on lab experience in networking or IT infrastructure;
- Exposure to Cisco, Fortinet, or other enterprise networking/security technologies;
- Fortinet certification or relevant security knowledge;
- Exposure to network monitoring and troubleshooting tools;
- Basic knowledge of cloud networking;
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge (e.g., Python, Ansible).
