Junior Motion Editor

Your Role:

The Junior Motion Editor will assist the Inizio Evoke Motion team in video editing and motion graphics creation. The person in this role will collaborate with senior editors and designers to produce high-quality content that meets brand standards and project objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple projects. This is a remote role that will report to the Senior Video Editor.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in editing live action video content 

• Ingest and set up footage and projects including logging/assembling raw footage

• Prepare footage for transcripts and paper cuts creation

• Create super selects, string-outs, multi-cam sequences for team reviews 

• Assist in sourcing stock footage and music for video projects

• Handle lower complex projects or individual tasks within larger projects, taking on initial edits, basic animations, and revisions

• Support the creation and integration of simple motion graphics and animations under the guidance of senior team members

• Work on social media projects, including adapting and optimizing TVC work across all social platforms

• Collaborate and support the post-production team in their workflows and help meet project deadlines. Assist with revisions as needed.

• Compile and organize notes from voice-over sessions, identifying the best takes for use 

• Prepare design files for animation, organizing assets to be After Effects-friendly

• Research and utilize AI tools for motion design to enhance efficiency and creativity in the production process

• Serve as the primary point-of-contact for Studio support on designated set of brands

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field

• Experience as a Video Editor or Motion Graphics Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer

• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software, including Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D

• A solid understanding of color theory, typography, and graphic design principles

• Basic understanding of audio editing and mixing preferred

• A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit

• Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving

• Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deadlines
