Work Schedule: Onsite, Day Shift: 7:30 – 16:00, 7 days /week operation
Join Mars Wrigley Confectionery as a Junior Microbiologist, where you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Regional Micro Laboratory. You will perform classical and molecular microbiological assays on a variety of sample types, ensuring compliance with Mars Global Laboratory Quality Standards and ISO 17025. This position is integral to maintaining the safety and quality of our products and environment.
What are we looking for ?Education and Experience
- Experience working in a production or laboratory environment.
- MBO niveau 3 or 4, affinity with Microbiology.
- Working knowledge of ISO 17025 standards.
- Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Affinity with IT and digital tools is required.
- English language- both written and spoken.
- Deliver Accurate Results: Perform microbiological analyses with precision and timeliness, ensuring true and reliable data.
- Aseptic Technique: Apply skilled expertise and diligence in aseptic techniques to prevent contamination.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize microbiological culture methods and basic molecular techniques for sample analysis.
- Sample Handling: Prepare, homogenize, and perform serial dilutions on samples as required.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough and accurate records of microbiological results and testing traceability using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment through open, honest communication and respect for confidentiality of laboratory information.
- Quality Management: Adhere to documentation and record-keeping practices in alignment with the Regional Lab Quality Management System and relevant standards.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Contribute actively to a clean, safe, and compliant working environment, following all Mars safety and quality protocols.
