Junior Media Planner

Job Description:

Role Purpose:

As a Junior Media Planner at dentsu Croatia, you will work with Account Managers / Directors on a day-to-day basis to ensure that they deliver against client objectives. Media planning specialists are responsible for the smooth running of their dedicated campaigns and activities. The role is also key when it comes to driving collaboration across dentsu and in terms of building strong client/media relationships daily.

Key Accountabilities:

• In-depth understanding of client’s business needs and support delivery of client business development plan.
• Effectively runs the day to day planning and buying on key accounts, using best practices
• Working together with Account Managers / Directors and Media Director to deliver client strategies and KPIs
• Builds and develops media owner relationships in order to drive market-leading planning for clients
• Ensures regular media monitors and market activity reports are delivered to the team in a timely fashion complete with in depth analysis and commentary
• Ensures client reports are on target and are providing maximum value at the client requested cadence
• Maintain current knowledge of the evolving media space, ensuring best practices and thought leadership are shared with clients when appropriate

Your experience, knowledge and skills requirements

• 1+ years of experience working in media planning/buying role at media agency
• Great knowledge of industry standard planning systems, media terminology and tools
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, Excellent English skills in both written and spoken
