Job Description

As (Junior) Media Planner (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the planning and buying activities of integrated media campaigns for ABOUT YOU in all relevant offline media channels for a variety of countries.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, management and optimization of international performance and reach-oriented media campaigns in all relevant offline media channels with a focus on TV
  • Detailed analysis and evaluation of campaigns based on defined KPIs
  • Preparation and presentation of results, collection of best practices and data-based development of clear recommendations for action
  • Defining strategies for the further optimization of our target KPIs and for the efficient use of the media budget
  • Managing international agency partners and sales houses. negotiating advantageous media deals
  • Working closely with our creative department to develop campaigns and innovative test scenarios

Requirements

  • Above-average degree in the field of media/marketing management, economics, business or similar
  • First professional experience in media planning and buying in a media or e-commerce company or a media agency as well as understanding of the relevant KPIs of media planning and/or performance marketing
  • Affinity for analytical work and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously and prioritize correctly as well as an independent way of working
  • Strong comprehension skills, willingness to learn and high level of initiative
  • Expert in the use of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Fluency in English, other languages are a plus
