About the job

In this role, you'll collaborate with a small but enthusiastic team of 8 talented colleagues as a member of Verisure's Global Mechanical Engineering team within the Product Engineering and IT Services organization. Our team's mission is clear: we're dedicated to developing, implementing, and maintaining the critical interfaces that bridge systems, products and end customers.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including product development, integration, verification, release management, and ongoing maintenance. We're laser-focused on ensuring quality, controlling costs, and optimizing project processes. We're also committed to strategic initiatives aimed at reducing service issues and return rates. Furthermore, we place a high premium on enhancing user experience, streamlining ease of use, and elevating product and service design.

To have fun and at the same time deliver great results in this role, we believe that you need to click the following criteria:

• You have around 3 years of experience in product development, particularly in handling plastic and metal components within consumer products.
• You have experience with 3D modelling systems.
• You have solid academic foundation in mechanical or mechatronics engineering. A Master's degree in a relevant scientific field is a plus.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
• You are a social person who can’t stop innovating or optimizing your surroundings.

You also have:

• Knowledge of the security industry
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like iterative work approaches
• A broad skillset encompassing CAD and PLM systems
• An analytical mindset
• The ability to quickly learn and utilize various software applications
