About the team:
Financial
The role reports to the Commercial Systems Manager. The team works closely with many business partners including Commercial Finance, Sales, Supply, Financial Control, Marketing, and the various IS stakeholders (Enterprise Operation, TCS, Infosys, Diageo Bengaluru (Bangalore), etc.).

Markets supported by the team: Great Britain, Ireland, Northern Ireland

Experience working with the ERP systems (SAP ECC, CRM), Business Intelligence suites (MS BI, Microstrategy, and Anaplan), Data warehouses (SAP BW) and other internal / externally managed environments. Has strong Excel and programming experience.
- Has proven records in driving and/or coordinating system and process development / Business consulting.
- Understands the commercial-, financial-, sales and marketing aspects to be able to create reports with business sense.
- Speaks fluent business English
About the role: Purpose of the role is to provide insightful analysis and excellent decision support on improvement, simplification, standardization opportunities to drive higher productivity and efficiency. The role will have good business insight and analytical rigour to support and challenge the delivery of our financial and commercial targets, processes, systems by working closely with stakeholders across the main markets in scope of the team. It is expected to generate regular local & ad hoc reporting & analysis for various countries and processes and to operate the control agenda.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drive system and process improvement, simplification, standardization across the markets handled by the team. Seek for, implement, and operate best practice across multiple areas
- Maintain an effective control environment, monitor the delivery plan, and produce reports with business sense.
- Lead and support projects relating to the team
- Perform any additional commercial / financial system related task as per Line Manager’s request
Experience / skills required:
Functional Capabilities
- 5-7 years of experience at multinational company in either Finance or Technical / Development areas
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills– essential
- High level of accuracy
- Exceptional ownership and proven record in improvement, system implementation
- Ability to work independently and in team. Being self-driven - essential
- Experience in working with integrated systems (SAP, BW, CRM, …)
- Lean or Six sigma qualified.
- Strong process and relevant system knowledge at a multinational company
- Excellent business English spoken.
- Hard working, fast learning personality, flexibility, inquisitiveness, proactivity
- Results orientated and capable of working in a flexible working environment.
Barriers to Success in Role
Lack of ownership, drive, accuracy, lack of logical and structured thinking, lack of understanding basic financial processes, insufficient language knowledge, inability to work independently or to adapt to the flexible working structure. Inability to develop strong working relationships across the key stakeholders and deliver against promises or have no satisfactory communication skills.
