• You will support to achieve the best solution for ZEISS, balancing individual functional and segment needs by contributing to the Record-to-Report end-to-end process workstream

• Together with the Senior Manager of your stream, you will take on a supporting role, understanding and mastering the individual processes, in order to moderate between the ZEISS functions and process experts in a goal-oriented manner

• Together, you will steer and orchestrate necessary external consulting support within your workstream

• You support in the alignment of your workstream progress with the senior manager of your stream, ensuring effective planning, implementation and improvement measures of your workstream and thus make a significant contribution to the overall project success

• Participate in conducting functional tests, validating process configurations, and implementing strategies to increase on-time payments and reduce accounts receivable outstanding. 

• Collaborate with global teams to support the roll-in of SAP S/HANA across various business units, aligning with the strategic objectives set by the Senior Manager

Your profile

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a business process role e.g. accounting / controlling, preferably with exposure to SAP or any other ERP system

• Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or an equivalent ERP system is a plus

• Strong analytical skills and basic understanding of end-to-end business processes

• First experience in driving projects in the area of business process excellence or in a similar performance improvement-related environment

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Results-oriented, analytical and organizational skills paired with change communication skills to develop and successfully implement strategic plans

• Effective communication and teamwork skills

• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
