Why this job is important
This role is a key part of the Head Office companies’ team, ensuring quality reporting and management of group holding and treasury entities. You will be preparing timely and accurate financial reports, coordinating with other group companies to resolve intercompany mismatches, and supporting the monthly consolidation process.
What you’ll be doing
- Prepare financial reports for holding companies and treasury entities.
- Prepare accounting entries for holding companies’ activities.
- Coordinate with other group companies to resolve intercompany mismatches.
- Support the monthly consolidation process by proposing group consolidation adjustments.
- Assist in external and internal audit processes
The skills & experience needed as Management Accountant
- Bachelor’s/University degree or similar experience in a related field.
- Member of a professional accounting body (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA, OROC, OCC, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an accountant or in an equivalent role.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP FRS 101.
- Effective communication skills, both written and spoken
