What You'll Be Doing:
- Logistic orientation (60%):
- Shipment Monitoring: Track and monitor the status of shipments, both inbound and outbound, to ensure on-time delivery. Communicate with carriers, and internal stakeholders to address any shipment-related issues or delays.
- System Receiving: Utilize computer systems and software to process incoming shipments, update shipment monitoring records, and generate necessary documentation. Ensure accurate and timely recording of received goods.
- System Packing: Fully grasp SOP to do packing with daily job list in shipping system, and processing necessary paperwork and documentation.
- Physical Packing: Properly package and prepare goods for shipment, following established guidelines and procedures. Engage in physical activities to handle, sort, and organize goods within the warehouse or packing area. This may involve lifting, carrying, and moving packages of varying sizes and weights (mainly 6KG for each shipment, varies from 0.5KG to 12KG).
- Administration orientation (40%):
- Logistics invoices verification and handling: Review and submit logistics invoices (transportation, services, custom clearance etc.) for timely payment processing.
- Logistic related purchase handling: Monitoring consumables stock level and collaborate with the procurement department to complete purchasing tasks for warehouse consumables/services.
- Logistic data consolidation: Collect, organize, and analyze logistics data from third-party providers and internal system — covering delivery lead time, cost efficiency, and order trends — to support operational decision-making.
- Task Assignment: Carry out tasks and assignments as delegated by the supervisor. Adapt to changing priorities, work collaboratively with team members, and provide support in other areas of logistics operations as needed.
What We Expect From You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (additional relevant certifications or training in logistics or supply chain management is a plus).
- Skilled in Excel for data tasks, with strong formula application skills.
- Exposure to logistics or warehouse operations through coursework, internship, or part-time work is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle and record inventory data.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and tracking.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages of varying sizes and weights, able to lift 10KG.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Mandarin is preferred for effective communication with cross-region teams.
- Must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands.
