ASI is seeking a Journeyman Logistician to work in Lakehurst, NJ supporting Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Support Equipment (SE) programs within the Mission Operations & Infrastructure (MO&I) Department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including pickup and delivery scheduling
- Serve as a primary logistics interface for MO&I program teams and customers
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Staging Facility Inventory Management System (SFIMS)
- Track material shipments and provide timely status updates to multiple program teams
- Support staging facility and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with ALRE and SE logistics requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years in acquisition and sustainment logistics, including 2+ years supporting DoD logistics programs
- 3-5+ years of experience supporting ALRE and SE shipping and receiving processes
- Demonstrated experience using SFIMS, including inventory data entry and tracking
- Strong understanding of staging facility operations and warehouse management
- Experience working across multiple programs and with stakeholders in a DoD environment
- Proficiency with inventory databases and logistics-related systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
