Within Rabobank’s Legal we manage legal risks and safeguard the reputation of the Rabobank by providing high quality legal support and solutions.

As Junior Legal Counsel in the FMPR team you will provide legal support and advice on a wide range of financial markets products and infrastructure. You will work primarily on financial markets documentation and transactions (such as derivatives – ISDA - and securities financing – GMRA/GMSLA), you will be involved in business projects (such as product innovations) and regulations (such as EMIR, MiFID, BRRD, Benchmark Regulation).

Your primary focus is expected to be to deliver transaction and documentation support in derivatives, combined with some regulatory work.

For this position we are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel with the following qualifications:

• A Master of Laws, Dutch or English law qualified, preferably with a focus on financial law (or a previous position where you have actively used this in a role);

• Around 0 to 2 years’ work experience, with preferably some experience or affinity for the financial markets practice;

• Strong English language skills;

• Affinity with (legal aspects) of AI.
