We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the growing team of Ignitis Eesti OÜ and help us to provide legal support for our growing electricity sales business stream. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Understanding products and assisting the business team in finding non-standard legal solutions to a wide range of legal issues, while mitigating legal risks
• Providing leadership to ensure compliance of business activities, corporate governance, and corporate housekeeping with legal requirements
• Participating directly in business projects together with the business team, representing the company before state authorities, institutions, and third parties
• Drafting and reviewing contracts and other corporate documents in English and Estonian
• Overseeing the company’s legal projects and cases
• Liaising with legal advisors, regulators, management, and other stakeholders on legal matters

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher
• Experience in contract drafting
• Ability to multitask, work independently as well as in a team, handle complex legal issues, reconcile different expectations, and demonstrate strong negotiation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Estonian and English (sufficient for drafting legal documents)
• Ability to simplify complex legal issues and provide pragmatic, operational legal advice

Would be an advantage: 

• Prior experience in construction or energy law
