The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
Collaborate with other developers, testers, and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
Work with Oracle and MongoDB databases.
Learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Java development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with Spring Boot framework.
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Knowledge of Oracle and MongoDB databases.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Bonus Points:
Experience with cloud platforms (Openshift).
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Contributions to open-source projects.
