We are currently recruiting for a Junior Italian Copywriter to sit within the European E-Commerce team, based in our Milan office. You will be reporting into the European Copy Manager, working closely with the European E-Commerce team, Italian marketing team and Italian in-store team.
This is an opportunity for someone with strong Italian copywriting experience, excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging customer-facing content across e-commerce channels. Supporting the Italian Copywriter, you will help produce copy for key customer touchpoints including product names and descriptions, UNIQLO Today blog content, product category pages, email newsletters and content-rich landing pages in support of multi-channel campaigns.
What you will be responsible for:
Prepare copy for regular site and content updates, including changes to the UNIQLO homepage, category pages and product pages.
Write engaging subject lines and email content for multiple weekly marketing newsletters.
Prepare and revise product names and descriptions in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice expectations.
Create exciting blog content for UNIQLO Today and other relevant customer touchpoints.
Support designers and site operations teams by responding to ad-hoc copy requests.
Transcreate from English, briefs to deliver content carefully crafted for the UNIQLO Italian language customer.
Develop strong product, campaign and business awareness to ensure copy is accurate, relevant and aligned to business priorities.
Proactively engage with stakeholders across departments and follow up on deliverables without hesitation.
Cover copy-related responsibilities and tasks in the Copywriter’s absence.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
Degree educated.
2+ years’ demonstrable experience content writing in an e-commerce context.
Bilingual in Italian at native level and English.
Experience in Ecommerce or Online Content Creation is a must.
Experience in Retail or Fashion is desirable but not essential.
Exceptional spelling and grammar, with strong attention to detail.
Good understanding of SEO and how it supports effective e-commerce copy.
Clear experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Self-driven, organised and able to manage multiple copy requests and deadlines.
Confident engaging with teams inside and outside of e-commerce.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural setting.
