How we work
As a Junior IT Application & Support Specialist, you'll gain valuable experience in a dynamic IT environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth IT operations by supporting a variety of internal teams across the company. Your responsibilities will include taking over tasks previously handled by our external reverse logistics vendor, contributing directly to employee lifecycle processes like onboarding and offboarding, and providing essential IT support. This role is ideal for recent graduates, individuals with up to one year of IT support experience, or those looking to pivot into the IT field.
What you’ll do
Onboarding
- Ensure that the new IT equipment for new employees is ready, including the availability of needed accessories such as cables, keyboards, etc, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.
- Manage the logistics of the hardware logistics, including the preparation, distribution, and tracking of employee IT assets such as macbooks, peripherals and accessories.
- Provide immediate support for any onboarding-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of onboarding processes and ensure all tickets are resolved properly.
Offboarding
- Handle offboarding logistics by coordinating the return of company-owned devices and equipment with the leaving employees on time and efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with departing employees and managers to ensure an organized offboarding process.
- Audit and ensure completion of all offboarding tasks.
Logistics & Asset Management
- Take full responsibility for managing IT hardware logistics, including handling repairs, replacements, and tracking asset inventory.
- Improve inventory control processes to ensure precise tracking of IT assets.
- Work closely with external vendors to manage equipment returns and replacements.
- Identify and work with the vendors to ensure we always have the best pricing/quality offers.
- Manage the stock of IT assets in our offices.
Collaboration with other teams/team members. Working closely with:
- Employees and new joiners (remote or not).
- Their managers.
- The IT team members responsible for configuring laptops and managing the necessary IT and application access for various teams.
- External vendors for the procurement of IT accessories.
- Logistics vendors for the Macbooks fleet.
- Logistics/shipment providers such as DHL, Fedex, etc.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal (additional European languages are a plus).

Our offices and way of working
We have sensational offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon. Most of our employees are within commutable distance of one of our office locations and enjoy a hybrid work model. This means we expect you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with each other. The exception is of course, if the job description specifically states that the role is 100% remote, as some experts and sales positions are.
