Job DescriptionWe are looking for a smart Junior IT Strategy Consultant to support the leadership of the Digital & IT department in a broad variety of topics from AI over Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Data, M&A to General IT Management.
As a Junior IT Strategy Consultant, you will to support the leadership of the Digital & IT department and play a key role in the development and execution of our IT strategy. You will work on a variety of topics, including AI, Data, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, M&A, Industry X.0, and IT General Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong consulting background, and possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will contribute to the creation of IT strategies, the operationalization of these strategies into actionable plans, and the support of their execution.
Your main tasks are:
- Support the development and implementation of tangible IT strategies across various domains, including but not limited to AI, Data, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, M&A, Industry X.0, or IT General Management.
- Conduct research and analysis to gather data, assess current IT capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to address business challenges and drive innovation.
- Contribute to the operationalization of IT strategies into actionable activities and initiatives. Assist in the creation of detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Develop and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and other information to stakeholders incl. board members.
- Assist with IT management topics like budget management, team management, risk management; the development of IT policies, procedures, and best practices as well as IT due diligence activities related to Mergers & Acquisitions or audits
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in IT consulting or IT management
- Strong understanding of IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and IT management principles
- Experience with a range of technology areas and topics
- Experience with project management
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in the medical technology or manufacturing industry is a plus
- Full professional proficiency in English required, German language skills are a plus
