Junior IT Change Analyst - Job Description

As the IT Change Management Analyst, you will be required to comprehend Capri Holding’s bespoke IT Change management policy and process. This role you will be responsible for running and maintaining the IT Change Management process and procedures globally across the IT organization.  The duties of the IT Change Analyst include auditing and evaluating all proposed changes, such as new technology implementations and enhancements. With this role, you will be required to oversee implementations of approve changes and provide daily updates to IT Leadership.  The IT Change Analyst has a critical role in ensuring the IT organization remains knowledgeable, agile and adaptable to changes being introduce to our technology ecosystem.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Management of the necessary communication activities related to IT changes.
  • Collaboration with respective project teams and managers involved in the organizational IT changes.
  • Coordinate and conduct weekly Change advisory board (CAB) meetings.
  • Prepare the weekly IT Change Advisory Board agenda outlining all RFC's (Request for Change) for CAB review.
  • Work closely with application development teams to ensure that processes operate seamlessly and to ensure all changes are appropriately captured and managed in the IT Change Management system.
  • Perform weekly critical SOX controls related to IT Changes.
  • Conduct pre- and post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request
  • Conduct additional training in the IT Change Management process and policy training for new and existing IT staffs.
  • Use all sources of Management Information to analyze trends to improve the future of changes.

 Job Requirements

  • A conceptual knowledge of IT Change Management Process Flows.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with stakeholders in a variety of levels and business units.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts: Networking, Infrastructure, Ecommerce, Applications
  • Knowledge of SDLC, Agile and process improvement methods/approaches.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. This includes working with remote management/team members.
  • Good to Have: Experience with ServiceNow or a similar tool.
  • Good to Have: 1- 3 years of experience in change management and IT compliance. Change Management experience outside of IT will work (ex: retail)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.

Compensation Range: 

$60,000.00-$70,000.00
