Taonga: the Island Farm is an immersive exploration and adventure game set on a colorful tropical archipelago.

What begins as a casual farming experience gradually evolves into a rich, multi-layered adventure. Players discover increasing depth through travel, story-driven quests, strategic battles, engaging mini-games, competitive events, and much more—transforming the game into a captivating midcore adventure with sophisticated mechanics.

The exquisite art style of the game is what our players consistently mention as the first reason for loving Taonga. We achieve this unique aesthetic with strict and graceful construction, immaculate lineart and delicate, painterly rendering. Our Artists specialise either in construction or in colouring, depending on personal preferences and professional strengths.

We are looking for a creative and driven Junior 2D Artist to join our team in expanding the world of Taonga and bringing delightful experiences to our players.

• Creating all types of isometric in-game assets: buildings and structures, vegetation, environmental props, item icons.

• Has a genuine passion for playing and developing games

• Has experience creating game art in isometric projection

• Is an experienced user of a professional graphic editor program

• Has a strong understanding of composition, material properties and form plasticity

• Possesses a refined aesthetic taste

• We require a portfolio of your work to apply for this position.
