Curiosity, continuous learning, and result orientation are the core values we are looking for. We are seeking a highly organized Junior Invoicing Specialist to join our team and work on the entire financial life cycle of all our campaigns.
What you will be doing
- Control the entire accounting lifecycle for all campaigns.
- Manage the correct entry of new campaigns and updates into our system.
- Be responsible for purchase order creation and management.
- Keep constant communication with our campaigns team and keep up with changes in a dynamic environment.
- Be part of the central link between finance and campaign operations.
- Own the invoicing process and ensure the accuracy and completeness of billing data.
- Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries and invoice-related questions.
- Monthly reports and other similar tasks (billing records, revenue reports, payments).
- Own and continuously enhance the (monthly) billing process.
- Work with our Data visualization tool on finance reports.
- Manage accounts receivable accounting (revenue recognition, payments, claims).
- The chance to work on projects to establish structures and improve the contract management and billing modules of our software.
What we need from you
- Good command of spreadsheets and a strong interest in invoicing and finance processes.
- Some understanding of accounting and/or controlling and basic knowledge of taxation, esp. revenue recognition.
- Previous experience working with DATEV is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- A love for well-organized systems/data and the process of creating it.
- Analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Distinct service attitude towards clients and colleagues.
- Digital mindset with a focus on automation.
- Motivated personality with a strong work ethic.
- Structured and detail-oriented work style while still being pragmatic.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English, and German is a big plus.
