The Cox Enterprises Intelligent Automation (IA) Center of Excellence (COE) is looking for a highly motivated Junior Intelligent Automation Engineer. As part of a team of IA developers, you will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining intelligent automation solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Coding and Development:

  • Collaborate with the development team to create high-quality Intelligent Automation solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.


Problem Solving:

  • Analyze user requirements and translate them into IA solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.
  • Contribute ideas to improve existing processes and solutions.
  • Demonstrate eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.


Testing and Quality Assurance :

  • Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and automated testing.
  • Identify and fix defects, ensuring robustness and reliability.


Collaboration :

  • Work closely with senior developers and team leads to understand requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on project planning and strategy.
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
  • Demonstrate ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


Documentation :

  • Document code and system architecture to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation for end-users and fellow developers.
  • Complete project status and timekeeping reports as required.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, and shift priorities quickly as required and rapidly adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail.


Job Qualifications - Experience/Education/Training:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and less than 2 years' experience in a related field; or 4 years' equivalent experience in lieu of degree.


Preferred:

  • Emerging knowledge with technologies appropriate to the position (e.g., RPA, RDA, IDP, Process Mining, etc).
  • Proven programming experience (Python or .NET preferred.)
  • Internship experience or other exposure to intelligent automation technologies (RPA/IDP/Process Mining, etc.) would be a strong advantage.


Other Essential Job Requirements and Working Conditions:
Travel: Some travel for conferences or off-site training may be required.
USD 58,400.00 - 87,600.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $58,400.00 - $87,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
