NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Junior Integration Engineer based in our Daytona Beach, Florida office. This position does have the flexibility to work remotely.
The Junior Integration Engineer provides support to our Competition group – monitoring and reporting the availability of the mission critical systems and processes, as well as operational responsibilities The core hours of this job does focus our trackside event schedule which primarily consists of weekends as well as evenings, when our events take place.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Act as the first line incident response personnel and report minor incidents and configuration requests as needed.

Assist with the setup and operation of the Event Racing Data Platform (ERDP)
-
Monitor the uptime for all trackside systems used by Competition and other business units
-
Execute Quality Assurance plans to test and deploy new software to the trackside environment
-
Support the management of the incident ticketing systems and requests as well as tracking documentation to supply management with workforce tracking & efficiency reporting.

Work closely with multiple internal and external clients from Competition, Digital and other industry business partners
-
Collect and produce weekly metric reports of issues and resolutions for each weekend event(s)

Travel: 15-25%, including weekends
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school and a minimum of one to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
-
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
-
Advanced skills on all company provided hardware and software.
-
Advanced skills in networks and computer programming languages a plus
-
Must have good understanding of programming concepts.

MTA preferred

AWS Cloud Practitioner a plus
